Our Story
In October of 2006, David and I proudly opened the doors to Flanigan's Furniture, marking the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. With a vision to create a family-oriented business, we relied heavily on our four energetic boys, who were still quite young at the time. They eagerly pitched in, helping us unload massive semitrucks filled with mattresses, carefully unwrapping furniture, and setting up displays in the showroom. Our oldest son, Justin, took on a particularly special role — at just 15 years old, he became our very first delivery driver, bringing orders to customers with pride. It was a truly hands-on start to our journey, and the whole family played an integral part in shaping the business from the ground up.
Now, nearly 20 years later, our business has flourished and grown in ways we never imagined. We've expanded both our showroom and our operations, allowing us to serve an even wider community. Our hard work and dedication have paid off, and the family’s commitment to Flanigan’s Furniture continues to thrive. Today, our son Jordan has taken on a pivotal role as our General Manager, helping guide the business with the same passion and drive that started with us. It’s incredible to see how much we’ve accomplished together, from those early days of unloading trucks to now leading a successful and expanding furniture business with the next generation at the helm.
We’ve always had a deep love for Wyoming, and it’s been the perfect place to raise our children. The beauty of this state and the sense of community have made it home for us in every sense. We’re incredibly grateful for the unwavering support we’ve received from the people here, and we are honored to be part of a community that values shopping local. The trust that our customers continue to place in us, year after year, is something we don’t take for granted. It’s because of their loyalty and commitment to supporting small businesses like ours that we’ve been able to grow and thrive. As we look back on nearly two decades of success, we’re thankful to be doing what we love in a place that’s given us so much.
